The last Thursday of every month, Son Henry hosts an evening of deep roots and soulful storytelling: Son House Blues Night in the Backroom Lounge at the Record Archive. He is joined by his incredible house band; Rob Huff on drums, Dan Lopata on bass, and Jon Tucker on keys. Starting with a warm-up set by the house band, followed by a featured performance from a special guest, we pair it all with cold beer, fine wine, and fresh pizza. music.
6.26.26 – Hywater (4pm-7pm)
HYWATER is a modern rock band hailing from Niagara Falls, NY. Their music boasts a modern-meets-vintage rock sound that draws inspiration from bands such as Goo Goo Dolls, Gin Blossoms, and Soul Asylum. The band’s knack for creating straightforward and accessible rock music has continued with the release of their single “Hindsight,” which was released worldwide to all major streaming platforms on April 25, 2025. HYWATER has also graced the stage with numerous notable rock acts including Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Don Felder (formerly of the Eagles), Marcy Playground, Deep Blue Something, “Monsters of Rock Tour” alum Kingdom Come, and The Tubes.

Formerly known as Open G, HARDLINE brings more than two decades of live performance experience to stages across Rochester and beyond.
